Husho Terms of Sale
Effective from 6 November 2026.
§1. General provisions
- These terms set out the rules for buying a Husho license in the online store at husho.app (the "Store") and for using the app.
- The seller is Husho (the "Seller"), who can be contacted at hello@husho.app.
- A Customer is a natural person, legal person or organisational unit without legal personality that buys a license in the Store or uses the Husho app.
- A Consumer is a Customer who is a natural person entering into a contract not directly connected with their business or profession.
- A Sole trader with consumer rights is a natural person running a sole proprietorship for whom the purchase is not professional in nature. Such a person has the Consumer rights described in §8 and §9.
§2. The Husho app
- Husho is a Mac app that records and transcribes meetings, completes notes and creates summaries.
- Recordings, transcripts, notes and summaries are created and stored only on the Customer's Mac. The app does not send them to the Seller or to the cloud.
- The Store offers a Husho license and industry packs with specialised summary templates, currently the Medical Pack. A pack can be bought together with a license or added to an existing one.
- The current offer and prices are listed on the pricing page.
§3. System requirements
Husho requires:
- A Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or later) running macOS 14.4 or later.
- At least 8 GB of RAM. On Macs with 8 GB, Husho notes and chat run after the meeting.
- At least 10 GB of free disk space.
- An internet connection on first launch, when activating the license, and at least once every 60 days to confirm the license.
§4. Free trial
- Husho can be used free of charge for 30 days from the first launch. The trial needs no account, email address or payment card, and involves no charges.
- The trial is available once per Mac, including after the app is reinstalled.
- The trial covers the core features of the app. Industry packs are available after purchase.
- When the trial ends, recording, importing recordings and AI features require a license. Saved meetings, transcripts, notes and summaries remain available to view, play back and export.
§5. Orders and payment
- Orders are placed in the Store. Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe Limited, based in Ireland, whose payment page opens at checkout.
- The contract is concluded when Stripe confirms the payment.
- Prices include VAT. They are shown in Polish złoty (PLN) on the Polish version of the Store and in euro (EUR) on the English version.
- Each purchase is a one-time payment, with no recurring charges such as a subscription.
- The available payment methods are shown on the payment page.
- Once the contract is concluded, a purchase confirmation with the license key and these terms is sent to the email address given at checkout. A pack bought for an existing license is added to the license registered to the same email address.
- Customers who enter a tax ID at checkout receive a VAT invoice. Consumers can request an invoice at hello@husho.app.
§6. License
- The Seller grants the Customer a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Husho, with no time limit.
- One license key allows Husho to be used on up to 2 Macs at the same time.
- The license can be moved to another Mac at husho.app/transfer, up to twice in any 365 days.
- A lost license key can be recovered at husho.app/recover.
- The license key may not be shared with or resold to third parties, and the app may not be decompiled or distributed commercially.
- If these terms are seriously breached, the Seller may block the license key after first pointing out the breach and allowing time to remedy it.
§7. Updates
- Each purchase includes all new versions of Husho released within 12 months of the purchase date.
- Versions received during that period keep working with no time limit and at no extra cost.
- Regardless of that period, the Seller provides updates required by law, including security fixes.
§8. Right of withdrawal
- The Customer may withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 days of purchase. This right applies to every Customer, including after the key has been activated and the app used.
- The notice of withdrawal must reach hello@husho.app before the deadline. It can take any form, for example: "I withdraw from the contract for the purchase of Husho dated …", stating the email address used for the purchase.
- The Seller refunds the payment within 14 days of receiving the notice, using the payment method used for the purchase.
- Withdrawal from a license contract blocks the license key. In that case the Seller also refunds any packs bought for that license.
- Withdrawal from a pack purchase applies only to the pack, and the license keeps working.
- Once the key is blocked, saved meetings, transcripts, notes and summaries remain available to view, play back and export.
§9. Complaints
- Complaints can be sent to hello@husho.app.
- A complaint should include the email address used for the purchase or the license key, and a description of the problem.
- The Seller handles complaints within 14 days of receipt.
- The Seller is responsible for the app's conformity with the contract. Consumers and sole traders with consumer rights may ask for the app to be brought into conformity or for a price reduction, or withdraw from the contract, as provided by the Polish Consumer Rights Act.
§10. AI output and recordings
- Transcripts, notes and summaries created by AI may contain errors and should be checked before use.
- Industry packs support a specialist's work but do not replace their judgement. ICD-10 codes suggested by the Medical Pack are always verified by a doctor.
- The Customer is responsible for recording conversations lawfully, including informing participants and obtaining their consent where required.
§11. Liability
- Towards Customers who are neither Consumers nor sole traders with consumer rights, the Seller's liability is limited to the price paid for the license or pack and excludes lost profits.
- This limitation does not apply to damage caused intentionally.
§12. Out-of-court dispute resolution
The Seller aims to resolve disputes amicably. Consumers may use out-of-court complaint and redress procedures, such as a consumer ombudsman or a consumer organisation in their country.
§13. Personal data
How personal data is processed is described in the Privacy Policy, and the use of cookies in the Cookie Policy.
§14. Final provisions
- The Seller may amend these terms. Amendments do not apply to contracts concluded before they take effect.
- Matters not covered by these terms are governed by Polish law, including the Civil Code and the Consumer Rights Act. Consumers keep the protection granted by the mandatory laws of their country of habitual residence.
- Disputes with Customers who are not Consumers are settled by the court having jurisdiction over the Seller's place of business. The court for disputes with Consumers is determined by law.
