Yes. Husho records and processes meetings locally. Transcripts, notes, AI questions, and summaries aren't uploaded to the cloud. It does use the internet for specific tasks, explained below.

Husho goes online to download AI models and templates, check licenses and updates, and fetch web pages you add to your Library. It doesn't upload meeting recordings or content.

Yes. Once the models are downloaded, you can record, transcribe, take notes, ask questions, and generate summaries offline. Your license is checked periodically, normally monthly, with up to 60 days of offline use.

During the trial, Husho's servers receive a hashed Mac identifier and the app version. After purchase, they receive your license key, purchase email and identifiers for up to two Macs. They don't receive your recordings or their contents.

No. The AI models run locally on your Mac, and your recordings and notes aren't sent to us.

Husho doesn't send meeting content to the cloud, but you're still responsible for recording consent, professional confidentiality, and applicable data protection requirements. Check your organization's rules before use.

You decide when to record; Husho doesn't start recording automatically. Check the rules that apply and obtain any required consent before you begin. The recording stays on your Mac.

An Apple silicon Mac (M1 or later), running macOS 14.4 or later, with at least 8 GB RAM. Check your specs under Apple menu > About This Mac.

Husho selects AI models based on your Mac's memory and capabilities. More powerful Macs may run larger models. Performance also depends on what else is running and how long the recording is.

Husho processes audio and runs AI models on your Mac, so it uses local computing resources. You may notice extra load during demanding calls or when many other apps are open.

You choose when to generate a summary. Husho estimates the time based on your Mac and the recording length. Actual processing time may vary.

Husho downloads the AI models (between 7 and 10 GB, depending on your Mac) and prepares them for use. This takes a few minutes and needs an internet connection. Allow about 2 GB of extra free space.

Husho records the audio and progressively builds a transcript. You can take notes throughout. While the Husho notes panel is open, Husho completes your notes with details from the conversation, during the meeting and right after it.

Your trial starts the first time you launch Husho. You get 30 days to use the standard features, with no card, account or email required. Templates for specific industries require a purchase.

You'll need a license to keep recording, importing files and using AI features. Without one, you can still view and export your existing recordings and notes.

No. You buy a license once, with no recurring subscription. See the pricing page for current prices.

Yes. New versions are included for 12 months after purchase. The version you have installed keeps working after that.

One license key covers up to two Macs. Transfer it at husho.app/transfer or recover a lost key at husho.app/recover.

Business buyers must enter their legal business name, address and applicable tax/VAT number before paying. Consumers receive invoices on request where required by law: hello@husho.app. Key delivery or pack activation does not depend on an invoice.

Every buyer, including businesses, can withdraw from the purchase agreement without giving a reason within 14 days of entering into it, even after using the product. Email hello@husho.app. We’ll issue a refund within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice. You can also try Husho free for 30 days before buying.

During a meeting, Husho records, detects the spoken language, transcribes, and lets you take notes. It can add conversational context to those notes, depending on hardware and settings. Afterwards, you can search and replay audio, ask AI questions, generate a summary using a template, and translate it into another language.

Husho captures audio directly from your Mac. It does not need to connect to the meeting app or join the call as another participant. For meetings held in person, it uses your Mac’s microphone.

No. Husho records audio locally on your Mac. It never appears in the call’s participant list.

Husho distinguishes microphone audio from computer audio, but it doesn't identify each participant by voice or assign every utterance to a named speaker.

The Husho interface is available in Polish and English. Husho automatically detects the spoken language and transcribes meetings in many major European languages, including Polish, English, German, and Italian. It expands your notes in the language you write in. Summaries are created in the meeting’s language by default, but you can add a translation into English, German, Italian, or another supported language. Medical Pack templates generate summaries in Polish.

Yes. Select “Import recording”. Husho transcribes the file in the background, then lets you search it, ask questions and generate summaries.

Yes. AI transcripts, notes, and summaries can contain errors or miss context. Husho makes it possible to return to relevant audio passages. Always verify important details before relying on them for decisions or documentation.

Yes. When you switch apps, Husho's small floating window can keep recent notes visible and let you add more. You can turn it off when you don't need it.

A template tells the AI how to structure a summary, such as lecture notes, meeting minutes or action items. An industry pack is a separate set of templates for a specific workflow, such as medical consultations.

You can create your own templates or duplicate a standard template to fit your workflow.

The trial includes standard templates. Templates for specific industries become available after purchase.

Your data is stored locally on your Mac. Export a meeting as a Markdown file with the summary, notes, questions, and transcript, plus a separate audio file.
